New Year, New Direction

Hello, Strangers! 

I want to apologize for being away from our blog for so long!  Life has been a roller coaster since my last post!  From selling our home, to buying a nightmare house, to the birth of our beautiful daughter, our family hasn't had a stable place to call home for awhile!  This made blogging nonexistent, but I'm back!  

This little cutie has changed our world so much, that I decided to change the direction of this blog.  If you read my first post [One Simple Question:  WHY?], you would know that I created this website to capture the depth of our love in a way that was interactive and modern.  Up until now, this blog has been where I record all of our adventures.  Well, we have arrived at our greatest adventure yet...the birth of our daughter: 

WAYLIN KENZI BOHLEN

I've always wanted to publish this website into a novel.  So, I have decided that the focus of the blog will be for Waylin to read one day.  For her to know how much her parents loved each other and how much we loved her, to know when Vader stole her favorite toys, to know how her first school dance went, etc.  These are all memories that will be forgotten if they are not preserved somewhere/somehow.  And that is precisely what I intend to do!

Memories are short moments of time, constructed by our own perspective of our life experiences.  This means, the way that I interpret an event may be different from how someone else does.  Because of that, I also hope to get some guest blogs up on this site for Waylin to read about her life from all of the people that love her as she grows up. 

From this point on, this is for you, Waylin.
